Tutor in These Subjects:

Grades 4 - 6: Reading, Writing, Math
Asset

Kindergarten - Grade 1 Literacy, Math Grades 7-10: English, Math

About the Role:

In-Home Tutor (Part-Time, Contract)

As a S.M.A.R.T. Tutor, you will:

Work 1:1 with students in their homes (50-minute sessions) Work towards meeting outlined tutoring objectives with each student Use shared team resources and tools to support your planning Design your own lessons tailored to your students' needs Communicate with families and the SMART Tutoring team Submit progress reports monthly using provided templates

Minimum Availability

4 hours/week, Mon-Fri between 4:00-8:30 PM

Contract length:

12 months (2025/2026 school-year commitment required)

Pay & Perks

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor of Education (or enrolled) Understanding of the current Ontario Curriculum Vulnerable Sector Check (required upon hire) Reliable transportation & insurance
Preferred:

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or Transitional Certificate Additional AQ qualifications or specialization
