Sturgeon Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full-Time Temporary Grade 3 Teacher to join the dedicated team at Landing Trail School. Landing Trail School, located in Gibbons, serves approximately 400 students from preschool to Grade 4. The school also offers non-denominational Christian faith-based LOGOS programming to around 80 students, supporting spiritual growth while delivering the Alberta curriculum. Known for its dynamic, student-centered learning environment, Landing Trail is a place where both staff and students thrive.


This position includes a Grade 3 homeroom assignment, along with the responsibility of delivering elementary music instruction to other classes as part of the full-time teaching role.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide engaging and differentiated instruction in a Grade 3 classroom Deliver foundational music instruction to elementary students Support students with diverse learning needs Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a caring school culture Maintain effective communication with families Participate in school-based initiatives and the broader school community

What You Bring

A valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Experience with differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices Background in elementary education Strong knowledge of literacy and numeracy instruction Experience or interest in delivering elementary music programming Positive classroom management strategies A collaborative, student-focused approach Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
