Position Overview:

We are looking for a

patient and knowledgeable Math Tutor

to support students in

Grades 9-12

with personalized, one-on-one instruction. The ideal tutor will help students build confidence, master concepts, and improve problem-solving skills. Some students may require additional support with organization, focus, or managing overwhelm while learning.

Responsibilities:

? Provide

one-on-one tutoring

in math for middle and high school students
? Adapt teaching methods based on different learning styles and challenges
? Help students build confidence and reduce stress around math concepts
? Support students in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced Functions
? Track progress and communicate with parents about student development

Qualifications:

? Strong understanding of

high school math

(Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Functions, Data Management etc.)
? Ability to break down complex topics in a

clear and encouraging

way
? Patient, structured, and able to keep students engaged
? Experience working with

students with learning differences (e.g., autism, ADHD, or anxiety) is a plus

? Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
