Lady of Learning Tutoring is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to join our team! We provide

in-home tutoring

for students in

Grades 11-12

, with a strong focus on

Math, Chemistry, and Physics

.

Must be able to travel to Burlington and Oakville even for 1hr sessions

. If you have a solid academic background, know the Ontario curriculum well, and enjoy working with children and teens, we want to hear from you.

Please DO NOT apply if you are unable to travel to Oakville AND Burlington, or if you are not comfortable tutoring students up to grade 12.

This is a

flexible, part-time role

ideal for university students, recent grads, or professionals with teaching or tutoring experience. Our students are located mainly in

Oakville, Burlington, and Mississauga

, so you must have a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Duties

Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in

Grade 11 & Grade 12

Deliver instruction aligned with the

Ontario curriculum

Travel to students' homes

Build strong rapport with students and motivate them to reach their goals Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and academic needs Track and report student progress to parents and/or the company Maintain a professional and encouraging learning environment

Qualifications

Required:

Must be confident tutoring

Math, Chemistry, Biology Grade 11/12

Prior tutoring or

teaching experience in Ontario

Completed high school and University or are enrolled in University in

Ontario

must be familiar with the Ontario curriculum

) B.Ed (in progress or completed) Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Owns a reliable vehicle

for travel to Oakville, Burlington

Available to tutor

in person

Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently

Assets (Nice to Have):

Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., science, education, math) Had 2 years of tutoring chemistry and math OCT certification
