Windigo Education is seeking a qualified candidate to teach Grade 1 at Martin McKay Memorial School in Sachigo Lake First Nation, ON. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Education degree and be a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or be eligible for membership.

Qualifications

Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or eligible for membership Experience working with Indigenous students preferred Strong commitment to inclusive education and culturally responsive teaching

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Ontario curriculum standards Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues and community members to support student success Participate in school and community events
