We are looking for those with direct experience operating ground penetrating radar (GPR) devices.

Under the direction of a Superintendent, Foreman or Lead you will operate our GPR scanning devices on various commercial & industrial construction sites in preparation for saw-cutting, demolition, & removal operations to take place.

Additionally, your ability to operate or learning to operate core drills will be relied on as accessory work when GPR scanning work is not required, alongside any other work as required or instructed as part of our cutting, coring, demo, & removal division.

Responsibilities:

Operate our Hilti PS-1000 X-Scan Concrete Scanners & any other variations of GPR scanning devices that we obtain or rent as needed for scanning operations

Operate our various electric core drills to perform core drilling operations when GPR scanning is not required Assist our core drill & saw operators & labourers as required or instructed Operate a truck & trailer assembly, cube van, cargo van, or pick-up as required or instructed with confidence throughout city, rural, commercial, & industrial environments to get to & from our shop to your designated work sites. Daily equipment cleaning, routine preventative maintenance, & basic equipment repair Inspection documenting & reporting of all used equipment Participation in job preparations, equipment & material loading & unloading, & any other required duties as part of working in our saw-cutting, demo, removals, & coring division

Qualifications and Certification:

Must have a valid class 5 Non-GDL driver's license & clean 3 year driver abstract

Minimum of 1 years experience in the operation of GPR scanning devices, ideally in commercial & industrial construction site settings with a familiarity around saw-cutting & removal operations as part of the preliminary scanning operations Experience operating core drills, slab/flat saws, hand saws, wall saws, ring saws, chain saws, & wire saws is viewed as advantageous & those with experiences on these types of equipment will be preferred for this role CSTS-2020, WHMIS (Free & online certifications) Must possess a strong ability to adapt to different working conditions & equipment as the nature of this position is dynamic in nature

This role requires the applicant have the ability to accept the changing dynamic of work, whereby when GPR scanning duties are not required that they be willing to perform other duties which may include assistance to core drilling & saw-cutting operators & labourers, operation of core drills, & other required duties as instructed or necessary.
