Thrive Urban Wellness Inc. is a collective wellness hub and boutique in historic downtown Newmarket, Ontario. We host multiple independent practitioners, offer curated Canadian wellness products, and operate through a Shopify-based online platform.

Our business model requires managing multiple Google Business Profiles tied to a single physical address and one primary domain (Shopify). We're seeking an experienced Google Business Profile Manager & Specialist who understands how to maintain compliance, maximize visibility, and strategically separate services and products across profiles.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize multiple Google Business Profiles at one address (e.g., collective hub, psychotherapy practice, wellness boutique). Ensure GBP compliance for multi-profile businesses sharing the same physical address and website. Structure Products and Services so that only relevant offerings appear on the correct profile. Regularly post updates, events, and media to each GBP, tailoring content to profile focus. Link Shopify products, blogs, and events to the right GBP(s) while preventing overlap. Monitor and respond to reviews in alignment with Thrive's brand voice. Provide ongoing local SEO insights and reporting to improve search visibility. Identify risks (e.g., duplicate content, policy violations) and implement solutions. Develop a system for automating GBP updates (OneUp, Publer, Zapier, or equivalent).
Qualifications

Demonstrated success managing multiple GBPs for one business location/address. Strong knowledge of Google's guidelines for multi-practitioner and multi-department businesses. Expertise in structuring GBP categories, products, and services without triggering suspensions or duplication flags. Hands-on Shopify experience (particularly syncing GBP with Shopify content). Ability to create and analyze performance reports, then implement actionable improvements. Experience in local SEO, structured data, and directory listings. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have

Background in health & wellness, service-based businesses, or boutique retail. Knowledge of schema markup for local SEO. Experience managing paid local ads campaigns to supplement GBP visibility.
Role Details

Type: Contract / Part-Time with potential expansion. Location: Remote (Canada preferred; local knowledge of Ontario a plus). Compensation: Based on proven experience and measurable results.
