Job Summary


Widder Station Golf, Grill and Tap House is seeking a highly motivated and experienced golf course Superintendent and an assistant Superintendent for immediate employment for the 2026 season. Widder Station offers a professional maintained course with 18 holes in a championship category of golf courses with a unique, beautiful, natural landscape terrain.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge in irrigation, gardening, and landscape maintenance, and proven experience in supervising teams. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating with clients and team members to deliver exceptional results. The Superintendent will play a key roll in maintaining a safe and high-quality environment for golfers and staff, set and manage budgets, provide staff scheduling, guidance and direction to staff in a professional atmosphere. Daily supervising and working alongside the outside turf management team to maintain the integrity. Certifications for spraying and IPM reporting is essential.

Responsibilities



Oversee and coordinate landscape maintenance, horticulture, and irrigation projects from start to finish. Supervise and lead the turf maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain quality control by inspecting work sites regularly and providing feedback for improvements. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations on landscaping solutions. Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project execution. Train new staff on best practices in gardening, horticulture, construction, and landscape maintenance techniques. Address any issues or delays promptly to minimize impact on project timelines. Maintain the required IPM reports, Water take permits, budgets and weekly reports to management.

Skills



Extensive knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance practices. Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively. Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities. Experience in construction related to landscape projects is preferred. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction, landscaping, and horticultural work environments. Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
