Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Golf Course Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our machinery and vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, vehicles, and equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Replace or repair defective parts and components. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts. Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the shop or field.

Skills

Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Previous experience as a mechanic or in a related field is preferred but not required. Certification in automotive or diesel mechanics is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Day shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Weekends as needed
