Crowsnest Pass Golf Club is a premier destination golf course known for exceptional course conditions and a top-tier golfing experience. We are looking for a skilled Golf Course Equipment Technician to join our team and help maintain our fleet of turf equipment to the highest standards.

Position Overview

As a Golf Course Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and small engine equipment. Your role ensures that our grounds crew has well-functioning machinery to keep the course in prime condition.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on golf course maintenance equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on mowers, tractors, and small engine equipment. Sharpen and adjust reel and rotary mower blades for optimal cutting performance. Maintain accurate service records and inventory of spare parts. Collaborate with the Superintendent and maintenance team to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime. Ensure all equipment operates safely and meets performance standards. Maintain a clean and organized workshop.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in golf course equipment maintenance, turf machinery, or small engine repair preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with gasoline and diesel engines. Experience grinding and sharpening reel and rotary mower blades is a plus. Welding and fabrication skills are an asset. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

A fully equipped shop with tools is provided to support your success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,650.00-$85,900.00 per year
