Job overviewThe Big Cedar Golf and Country club requires staff to provide clubhouse services.The position is seasonal, part time and involves shift work during evenings and weekends.The job is fast paced at busy times.It requires people who can work without direct supervision and are capable of calmly managing their workload while maintaining a pleasant environment for clients.Successful candidates will be team workers who interact effectively and cordially with other staff.Duties
- Responding to customer requests for services and information
- Serving alcoholic and other beverages
- Preparing light meals and snacks
- Booking reservations
- Monitoring tee-off times and interacting with golfers to ensure smooth pace of play
- Cleaning clubhouse at end of shift
- Smart Serve certification
- Ontario Food Handling Certificate (applicants without current certificate will be considered but must obtain certification within thirty days following first day of work)
- Experience with cash and credit card transactions
- Experience in cooking and food handling
- Experience tending bar
- Experience working in a golf clubhouse
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 20-30 per weekSalary: From $15.00 per hourAdditional pay:
