As a family-owned and operated course, we're committed to providing the best possible experience for our guests and staff.We're hiring Golf Course Grounds Staff to join our team. You'll have the opportunity to engage in a variety of duties involved in maintaining the golf course, including using a variety of riding mowers, tractors, and smaller equipment such as string trimmers. If you'd enjoy working outdoors, we'd love to hear from you. We are currently looking to fill full-time positions; however limited part-time positions may also be available.You'd be a great addition to our team if:

• You are able to drive turf vehicles and various mowing equipment
• You like being a team player and can also work independently
• You're customer focussed
• You have problem-solving skills
• You have basic knowledge and operation of landscape maintenance tools, equipment and techniques is an asset
• You're self-motivated and have a positive attitude
• Your time management and organization skills are excellent
• You're punctual, dependable and accountable
• You have good mechanical understanding and ability
• You have some familiarity with golf (however we're willing to teach you)

Golf Course Grounds duties include (training to be provided):

• Cutting various areas of the course (fairways, tees, greens, rough) with a variety of riding mowers
• Using string trimmers, leaf blowers and various small hand equipment and tools
• Engaging in physical job functions, including special projects as needed
• Maintaining sand traps and moving tee markers
• Fertilizing greens and tees, repairing divots
• Filling ball washers and collecting garbage
• Other duties as required

Requirements for Golf Course Grounds Staff

• Must be available to work early mornings and weekends as needed
• Able to work in various weather conditions
• Must have sufficient physical strength to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Able to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and follow all safety precautions (e.g. work boots, PPE, WHMIS, etc.)

Previous related golf course or landscaping maintenance experience is an asset.Successful candidates will enjoy golfing privileges at the course!We're committed to respect and equal opportunities for employees and our guests.
