Canada First Academy for Soccer Excellence
Canada First Academy (CFA) is a Toronto-based soccer academy for recreational and elite player training.

CFA runs three programs, the academy Team Program, the development program and FUNdamentals.

The Team Program is affiliated with the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) and plays regular games within Ontario's regional and district leagues. It runs through out the year.

Position Title:

GK Coach Youth Soccer, Competitive Program

Reports To:

Technical Director

Level:

Technical Staff (hourly)

In this role you will work with the academy GK's to develop their skills and confidence in net, while teaching them the correct techniques to be a capable GK.

Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and instruction in Goalkeeper specific training
- Develop and implement practice plans and training sessions
- Teach proper techniques and skills
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Monitor progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and competitions
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to coordinate team activities and events

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Knowledge of Goalkeeping techniques and rules
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate skills to players of all ages and skill levels
- Strong organizational skills to plan and manage practices, competitions, and team events
- Experience in behavior management and maintaining discipline in a group setting

Ideally with GK certification. Available to coach several times weekly. Weekday trainings start as early as 5pm so candidate needs to be able to accommodate the start time reliably. Car would be ideal.

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
