Introduction

We are seeking a Global Order Specialist to join our Global Order team. You will be responsible for defined sales order and purchase order changes after orders are entered which includes, removal of delivery blocks, order cancellations, supplier delay changes, and monitoring for intercompany transactions. Your role plays a crucial part in coordinating expediting of sales orders and other sales order related tasks from all market areas. In this position, you will report to Raman Rai, Manager, Global Order Operations.

This position is mainly located in Burlington, ON, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options in Columbia, SC, York, PA and Brookfield, WC.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of global order experts dedicated to coordinating expediting of sales orders and other sales order related tasks from all market areas

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

Sales order Backlog Monitoring and communication to different market areas
Order changes to sales orders and purchase orders
Expediting coordination for all sales orders
Communication of order changes to all stakeholders involved.
Communication between logistics, master data, operative purchasing, availability management, and Customer Care
Other supply chain related exception tasks

Who you are

Strong experience in sales support, supply chain, purchasing, or order desk.
Must be extremely detail-oriented
Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
Experience in SAP ERP
Global Supply Chain Management a plus
Related degree, certification, and technical abilities.
Experience working in the mining, engineering, or construction related industry
Understanding of global logistics network
Strong familiarity with IT tools and ERP/integrated system (SAP)
Valid passport for international travel and driver\xe2\x80\x99s license for local travel must be maintained
