Affirm's Global Mobility Team is responsible for building and scaling our Mobility, Immigration and People Compliance programs to support the seamless movement of employees, both within Affirm and around the world. As Affirm expands internationally, we need an experienced Global Mobility Lead who will be an operational partner to build and scale our global assignment and remote-first programs for all Affirmers.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build our assignment program from scratch, including defining policies, building processes and managing vendor partnerships to deliver an outstanding employee experience. You will serve as a source of support and expertise on all mobility and remote-first programs for employees and business partners, and develop proactive programming around the latest industry trends.

A successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, has a passion for crafting meaningful employee experiences and builds strong relationships with employees, leaders and partners. We need someone with deep mobility knowledge, a strong operational background and cross functional project management experience to optimize existing processes as well as to establish new programs that are in line with our company values and goals.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Mobility, and is based remotely in the US.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, manage and guide multiple projects concurrently; you will build scalable global mobility programs that are fair, consistent and approachable for all stakeholders and that support career development (e.g., Global Assignments, Relocations, International Rotations, Flexible Work, etc.).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop seamless processes that support mobility needs while maintaining data integrity, compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop reports and analytics to provide information and insights to help drive business decisions.
  • Establish and manage day-to-day relationships with external mobility vendors to ensure service levels meet the needs of Affirm and Affirmers alike.
  • Create content and documentation to ensure our internal team, key business stakeholders, and Affirmers have the resources they need to understand our Global Mobility programs.
  • Communicate proactively with partners and teams to identify problems, build solutions, and deliver training and communications plans to support programs.
  • Document and review mobility and compliance processes, policies and data on a regular cadence.
  • Ensure privacy compliance, including establishing process steps and standardization, and leveraging tools and automation where possible.
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all inbound mobility questions; ensure all business stakeholders and employees have timely and accurate information relating to Global Mobility processes, policies and procedures.
What We Look For
  • 5+ years of Global Mobility experience, preferably in-house at a fast-growing, remote-first company
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with experience creating, leading, documenting and scaling programs from the ground-up. Creating playbooks, guides and job aids are your passion!
  • Detail oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving with a demonstrated focus on delivering an exceptional employee experience.
  • Impeccable judgment and integrity; ability to make sound decisions independently
  • You are an empathetic and detailed communicator with impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Strong bias for action and not afraid to "roll up your sleeves".
  • People systems (HRIS) experience, particularly with WorkDay is a plus
  • Preferred, but not required: strong knowledge and experience in U.S. and/or international immigration processes, federal and multi-state employment law and compliance practices operations (local, state and federal law)
  • Passion for improving consumer credit products and a strong sense of humor
