- Conduct investigations into the resale for stolen, counterfeit or fraudulently obtained product by internal and external parties
- Conduct OSINT reviews to identify individuals or organizations involved in policy violations and/or criminal activity
- Experience conducting online investigations, OSINT, report writing and working independently and on a team
- Experience in a Retail environment is an asset
- Prioritizing, categorizing, examining, and promptly addressing a range of urgent requests from law enforcement and third-party entities
- Maintain precise internal records and statistics to bolster our law enforcement response initiatives;
- Deliver effective assistance to law enforcement agencies through clear communication, both orally and in writing.
- Collect evidence related to any request from third parties for information from lululemon, while ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the results.
- Review CCTV of stores and facilities for evidence and criminal wrongdoing or policy violations
- Support ad hoc OSINT requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Complete investigative reports and provide recommendations when required
- Support the development and implementation of processes and procedures with the Global Investigations & Intelligence and Asset Protection teams
- Conduct quality assurance audits to support department SLAs and compliance - Review exception reports for concerns of employee misconduct, dishonesty and/or policy violations
- Provide support to the physical security and intelligence portfolio when required
- Lead investigations and take action to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks.
- Maintain datasets/tracking spreadsheets to assist in determining the efficiency and work load of the Global Investigations & Intelligence team.Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma/GED/equivalent, or above
- Experience: 2 years of retail/sales leadership experience (supervisor or people management not necessary; examples: leading delegated assignments/tasks, mentoring or assisting peers)
- Skills: 1-2 years of data entry, report writing, Microsoft excel, ability to work independently or on a team,
- Experience with data analytics and/or Power BI
- Knowledge of the Canadian and/or US criminal law
- Designations: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Crime Investigator (CFCI), Certified Forensic Interviewer (CFI), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS/CAMS), Physical Security Professional (PSP)
- Handling privacy, data disclosure, and similar legally sensitive inquiries, although not mandatory.
- Familiar with operational workflow systems, project management, and proficiency in database queries.
- Ability to interpret requests and data from third parties and law enforcement and respond within set SLAs for noted jurisdiction
- Meticulous attention to detail, a mindset geared toward continuous process improvement and exceptional organizational abilities
- Effective communication and representation of lululemon in interactions with law enforcement and third-party entities.
- Self-motivated, quick learner, capable of independent work with sound
- 1 year retail or customer experience (e.g., guest resolution, navigating difficult conversations)
- Some experience in fraud analysis, risk management, legal or investigations is a nice to haveSystem Knowledge
