Job Description


:
What will you do?

  • Provide technical assistance to Schneider Electric customers of Remote Operations products
  • Connect to customer machines/sites remotely to assist with troubleshooting and determining where the customer difficulty lies
  • Simulate customer setup
  • Escalate product defects and usability improvements to senior support agents and developers
  • Develop sample programs and product configurations to demonstrate product capabilities to customers


  • Provide occasional afterhours on-call support /adaptable work schedules may be needed

  • Engineering degree, Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation diploma
  • Familiarity with some of: TCP/UDP, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, OPC DA, HDA, and UA protocols, OSI model, etc
  • Scripting languages such as VB Script and Python
  • Being able to read log files
  • Experience in diagnosing communication networks
  • Understanding of virtual environments \xe2\x80\x93 virtual machines, virtual applications
  • Basic knowledge of IIS
  • Essential Cybersecurity and being able to understand the IT perspective
  • Attitude of excellent customer service
  • Open to new technologies and techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure, in a team as well as independently
  • Strong written and oral English

  • Exposure to industrial programming languages such as 61131 or 61499
  • Exposure to cloud and cybersecurity
  • Global cultural awareness
  • Fluency in written and oral French
