The Ross family takes pride in providing compassionate, quality patient care.Department/Unit/Program DescriptionThe Reflections Gift Shop and the Caf\xc3\xa9 operate with our dedicated volunteers enhancing the daily operations of the hospital.Position SummaryThe Hospital is seeking a permanent Part-Time Gift Shop and Caf\xc3\xa9 Coordinator.Effective Date: July 15, 2024The Gift Shop and Caf\xc3\xa9 Coordinator reports to the Manager, Volunteer Services and is responsible for establishing and maintaining a service orientated profit driven retail environment. The position is accountable for achieving or exceeding all budgetary goals. This will be met by successfully managing the daily operations of the gift shop and caf\xc3\xa9, which includes supporting volunteers in their daily tasks. Also, responsible for ensuring all Public Health Food Regulations are adhered to.Essential Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality, or business and or relevant experience operating /managing a business.
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate
• Leadership experience in retail or marketing management.
• Demonstrated success in financial management in a retail setting.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals.
• Demonstrated financial acumen. Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principles to manage budget and ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible
• Ability to be self-directed, show initiative, and also work effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job, as per the current Physical Demands Analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting would be an asset
• Experience in catering or management is an asset
