Nous developpons actuellement notre equipe de gestion des infrastructures et recherchons des managers technologiques experimentes pour notre poste de Chef de Cluster des Operations de Centre de Donnees. Nous recherchons une personne ayant une vaste experience en gestion/developpement des personnes, avec la motivation et la vision necessaires pour faire progresser les Operations des Centres de Donnees d'Amazon.com.
Le candidat retenu aura de l'experience dans la gestion de managers et d'equipes aux competences variees ; la creation, le suivi et le controle des budgets ; l'optimisation et la rationalisation des processus actuels pour une efficacite maximale ; la planification strategique par l'utilisation de metriques d'entonnoir ; le mentorat a tous les niveaux ; le parrainage et la realisation de grands projets et la proposition de solutions techniques a des problemes complexes.
Ce poste requiert un candidat ayant une capacite averee a conduire l'amelioration continue et a maintenir le rythme de notre croissance explosive tout en motivant les autres a relever les defis d'un environnement extremement axe sur les delais.
AWS is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of Data Centers. We are currently expanding our infrastructure management team and are looking for proven technology managers to fill our Data Center Operation Cluster Leader opening. This should be a person with broad experience in people management/development with the drive and vision to take Amazon.com Data Center Operations to the next level.
The successful candidate will have experience managing managers and teams with varying skill sets; creating, tracking and controlling budgets; leaning and streamlining current processes for maximum efficiency; strategic planning through use of funnel metrics; mentoring people in all levels; sponsoring and delivering large projects and proposing technical solutions to complicated problems.
This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive continuous improvement and the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.

Basic Qualifications
- o Maitrise du francais et de l'anglais
- *Plus de 5 ans d'experience en management dans un environnement operationnel, d'infrastructure critique, de fabrication, de production ou de distribution
- * Plus de 3 ans d'experience dans la mise en oeuvre de la methodologie LEAN/6 Sigma (amelioration continue, DMAIC/DVADV, 5 Pourquoi, analyse des causes racines, etc.)
- * Plus de 7 ans d'experience avec les composants informatiques et les systemes d'exploitation
- o Puisque ce role necessite que l'employe interagisse avec d'autres entites d'Amazon a l'echelle mondiale ainsi qu'avec des employes et intervenants dans d'autres provinces canadiennes, la connaissance du francais et de l'anglais est exigee pour ce poste.
- Fluent in French and English
- * 5+ years management experience in an operations, critical infrastructure, manufacturing, production, or distribution environment
- * 3+ years experience implementing LEAN/6 Sigma methodology (continuous improvement, DMAIC/DVADV, 5 Whys, Root Cause analysis, etc) * 7+ years of experience working with computer components and operating systems. o Due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position
Preferred Qualifications
- Diplome universitaire Bac en ingenierie, informatique ou dans un domaine connexe
- Certification/Ceintures LEAN
- Certification PMP/PMI * Plus de 5 ans d'experience dans la gestion d'equipes geographiquement dispersees
- Plus de 5 ans d'experience pratique avec des infrastructures critiques
- Satisfait/depasse les exigences des principes de leadership d'Amazon pour ce role
- Satisfait/depasse la profondeur et la complexite fonctionnelle/technique d'Amazon pour ce role
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- LEAN Certification/Belts
- PMP/PMI certification
- 5+ years experience managing geographically dispersed teams
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with mission critical infrastructure
