L'integrateur systeme sera responsable de l'execution technique en lien avec la conception des turbines pour l'industrie hydro-electrique. Il/Elle sera responsable de la coordination technique entre les differentes disciplines d'ingenierie oeuvrant a la conception de la turbine et de ses systemes associes. Il/Elle sera aussi responsable d'assurer le lien entre les equipes de conception, les equipes aux achats & chantier ainsi que l'equipe de gestion de projet.

Responsabilites :

Etre l'interface technique entre l'equipe d'ingenierie de conception associee a la turbine et le gestionnaire de projet en ingenierie. Analyser et coordonner les exigences techniques du contrat entre le client et l'equipe de conception du produit. Planifier et animer les reunions de coordination avec les ingenieurs de conception associes a la turbine. Coordonner la planification des activites d'ingenierie et les decisions techniques afin de s'assurer le respect des delais, de la qualite et des couts. Coordonner la collecte des retours d'experience techniques sur les projets ainsi que les mesures d'attenuation avec le soutien des ingenieurs concepteurs. Gerer le budget du projet, les mouvements de marge et les opportunites techniques pour l'equipe d'ingenierie de conception associee au produit lie a la turbine. Coordonner le support technique pour les equipes chantier lors de l'installation et la mise en service des turbines. Responsable de fournir des mandats de conception a chaque discipline d'ingenierie pour un projet donne, y compris les requis contractuels, les interfaces, la planification, la performance, la fiabilite et le budget. Gerer la documentation technique liee au produit turbine. Piloter les interactions techniques avec les clients pour les equipements turbine, aussi bien pour la definition des interfaces que pour la resolution des sujets techniques (clarifications, commentaires client) L'employe(e) sera amene(e) a interagir de maniere fluide avec des collegues de nos autres installations a travers et/ou a l'exterieur du Canada, et qui sont generalement incapables de communiquer en francais et dont la langue de travail est principalement l'anglais.

Qualifications:

Diplome universitaire reconnu en genie mecanique ou diplome de 2e cycle dans un domaine pertinent, avec un minimum de 5 annees d'experience pertinente Connaissance de la conception en industrie lourde. Experience pertinente en gestion de projets d'ingenierie. Experience en gestion de la relation client. Maitrise de l'anglais et du francais. Capacite a voyager occasionnellement Doit etre pret a se soumettre au controle prealable a l'embauche, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, la verification des references et la verification des antecedents. Doit avoir l'autorisation de travailler au Canada sans restriction et sans besoin de parrainage

Caracteristiques souhaitees:

Experience dans l'industrie hydroelectrique, industrie lourde et/ou machine tournante Membre d'un permis d'exercice d'une profession canadienne d'ingenieur Certification et/ou aptitude en gestion de projet Leadership, proactivite, sens de l'urgence, autonomie ; capacite d'interagir avec les fonctions. Solides competences en matiere d'analyse et de pensee critique ; Solides competences en communication. Gerer une activite multitache dans un environnement multiculturel et global. Un etat d'esprit d'amelioration continue.

System integrator - Hydroelectric Turbine

About the role:

The Turbine System Integrator will be responsible for the technical execution of turbine design for the hydroelectric industry. He/She will be responsible for the technical coordination between the engineering disciplines working on the turbine design and its associated systems. He/She will also be primary communication link between the engineering design teams, the project execution team and the project office.

Responsibilities:

Be the technical interface between the design engineering team working on turbine product and the Engineering Project Manager. Analyze and coordinate the technical contract requirements with the customer and product design team. Plan and manage coordination meetings with the design engineers assigned to the turbine product. Manage engineering schedule and align technical decisions to ensure compliance with the delivery deadlines, quality, and cost. Coordinate collection of technical feedback from projects and related mitigation plans with the support of design engineers. Manage project budget, related margin movement and technical opportunities for the design engineering team associated with turbine product. Support the site teams during the installation and commissioning of hydro turbine units. Responsible to provide work packages to each design engineering disciplines for the project including the client requirements, interfaces, planning, performance, reliability, and budget. Manage the technical documentation related to turbine product. Be the technical single point of contact to the customer for the turbine product included but not limited to piloting the definition of interfaces and resolution of technical roadblocks (managing clarifications and customer comments)

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Masters degree in a relevant discipline, including a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Knowledge in mechanical design. Relevant experience in engineering project management. Experience in customer relationship management. Fluent in English and French. Ability to travel occasionally. Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited, reference verification and background check. Must have unrestricted Canadian work authorization, without requiring sponsorship. Availability for occasional travel.

Desired Characteristics

Experience in Hydro industry. Member of a Canadian professional engineering license Certification in project management Leadership, Pro-activeness, sense of urgency, autonomy; ability to interact with functions.
