Job Summary

GeoTerra Surveys is looking for an office-based Geomatics/Survey Technologist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll work closely with our licensed Surveyors and field staff, gaining practical geomatics experience. We're looking for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, analytical, and enthusiastic about their work.

Responsibilities

Drafting and data processing for a large variety of surveying projects, including land (legal) surveys, engineering, construction infrastructure projects, UAV and bathymetric surveys. This position is office-based involving project research, calculations and drafting. Communicate with fellow team members and project manager to ensure deliverables are processed efficiently and correctly.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in geomatics technology/engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience. Knowledge of survey and boundary calculation, geodetic coordinate systems and map projections. Fluent in spoken and written English. Working knowledge of Carlson Survey or AutoDesk Civil 3D is a strong asset Experience with RPAS systems including basic and advanced pilot license is a strong asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
