Help us discover tomorrow\'s energy today.This is a one-year temporary staff position located in Saskatoon, SK.In this role, you will:

  • provide geotechnical and geological support to all Saskatchewan field programs
  • logging of down hole geophysical drill holes
  • process drill core and data collection
  • maintain and calibrate equipment and vehicles
  • assist with other camp responsibilities as required
  • complete drill site inspections and communicate safe work procedures to all contractors on site
Required:
  • Geological technician certificate or diploma
  • One or more years of relevant work experience in an exploration environment
  • Team player with the ability to work well independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid class 5 driver\'s licence
  • Safety-oriented work attitude
  • Ability and willingness to perform manual labour, including heavy lifting, as required for this position
  • Work a rotational schedule during field season
Recommended:
  • First aid training, TDG, WHMIS, ATV/snow machine certification, boat safety training
  • Experienced in MS Office
