Job Overview

Industrial Scaffold Services L.P. provides scaffolding services, rentals and associated services to Industrial customer throughout Western Canada. We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Yard Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work well in a team environment, work independently, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Assist in routine maintenance and repair of Equipment. Load and unload construction materials and move material to work areas. Ensure outgoing loads are organized, complete and secure for transport. Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties. Use power tools and machinery and operate forklifts safely and effectively when required. Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites and shop/yard areas to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed, providing support in various construction or maintenance activities. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Perform other activities as directed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Basic Welding experience (Entry Level) Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Valid Driver's License Availability to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed. Join us in making a difference through hard work and dedication!

Pay: $24.50-$28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
