Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that support the efficient operation of our tire distributorship. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling of materials. Operate heavy equipment such as order pickers and forklifts to move products within the warehouse. Perform order picking tasks, accurately selecting items for shipment based on customer orders. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying the accuracy of shipments against packing lists. Maintain organization within the warehouse distribution area to ensure efficient workflow. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies as needed. Engage in heavy lifting and physical labour as required by the demands of the job.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with equipment operation, including tele-handlers, order pickers and forklifts, is a plus. Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 60 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Experience with order picking processes and shipping/receiving procedures is advantageous. Knowledge of warehouse management and effective inventory tracking. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols in a busy environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
