About the Role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial
Store Manager
who will oversee daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and contribute to the growth of our beloved store. This is more than a management role -- it's an opportunity to take ownership, bring fresh ideas, and help write the next chapter of our story.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable performance
Manage a small team of store associates with an approach focused on excellent customer service, diligence and teamwork
Deliver exceptional customer service, upholding and nurturing the strong relationships our store is known for
Hire, train and mentor new employees, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
Keep track of inventory and coordinate resupplies with our supply chain team in the backoffice
Ensure the store reflects our high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and authenticity
Monitor sales, costs, and profitability; identify opportunities for growth
Organize and promote in-store events, tastings, or promotions highlighting French products and culture
Collaborate with owners on marketing initiatives and community engagement
Who You Are
A passionate, hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial spirit
Customer-focused, with a genuine interest in creating memorable shopping experiences
Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn about new products and share your knowledge
Enthusiastic about French culture, cuisine, and traditions -- francophone or strong French language skills a major asset
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
Experience managing or supervising in retail (food or specialty retail a strong asset)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
Fluent in English; French language proficiency highly preferred

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
