General job description
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of General Services oversees and ensures that residential customer service, general management of the administrative building, business development, communications, and marketing are carried out efficiently and in accordance with established agreements with service providers.
Main responsibilities
Manage customer service and handle more complex inquiries.
Manage relationships with FTTH service resellers.
Supervise a multidisciplinary team.
Oversee the maintenance of the administrative building.
Design and implement marketing campaigns, sponsorship plans, and promote products and services.
Manage the company's public relations.
Design and implement a consistent communication strategy using social media, the website, and other channels.
Act as a central point of contact to direct inquiries to the appropriate resources.
Manage conflicts constructively and apply appropriate measures with employees, in support of the immediate supervisor when needed.
Work on improving the customer experience.
In collaboration with the executive management, help develop long-term strategic partnerships with various stakeholders.
Oversee organizational compliance processes.
Identify staffing needs within the department.
Manage allocated budgets efficiently, ensuring maximum return on investment.
Oversee the administrative building and other facilities with support from the logistics team, and plan maintenance work as needed.
Negotiate and manage agreements (leases, loans) related to buildings.
Plan the maintenance work of buildings, equipment, and materials in collaboration with on-site employees.
Develop and coordinate the improvement of administrative processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing Communication, or a related field
5 to 7 years of experience in management, leadership, and team supervision
Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
Knowledge of the Cree language is an asset
Competences et connaissances techniques
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced skills in Word and Excel.
Intermediate digital and computer skills.
General knowledge of planning, analysis, and budget tracking.
Negotiation and persuasion skills based on objective and technical data.
Strong interpersonal skills.

8AM to 5PM
