The ideal candidate must be OMVIC licensed and have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the automotive/car dealership industry. The candidate should be experienced in managing finance managers and working with both prime and subprime auto finance lenders. Familiarity with online finance sales and the ability to manage a large team of finance managers are essential. The candidate must also possess above-average computer skills and be familiar with DealerTrack.
Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the sales and finance team to meet and exceed sales targets
Lead, motivate, and coach a large team of finance managers and sales staff to achieve their goals
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and profitability
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business
Ensure all customer inquiries are responded to promptly and professionally
Oversee finance operations, ensuring a seamless interaction with auto finance lenders, including both prime and subprime options
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management
Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions
Work closely with the finance and service departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management on improving sales processes
Requirements:
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Experience managing finance managers and working with auto finance lenders (prime and subprime)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Familiarity with online finance sales processes
Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
Knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and dealership operations
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
