We are currently seeking a General Sales Manager to join our leadership team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.
Purpose/Summary of Position:
This role is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of the new and used vehicle departments. This Management role is responsible for ongoing planning and collaboration with other department leaders; executing on objectives, goals and growth strategies; ensuring compliance with process and procedures; motivating and coaching team members for performance; improving efficiencies; driving sales and championing the customer experience.
The General Sales Manager is responsible for controlling a high-volume sales department and includes the supervision of Sales Managers and FSM's. The GSM fulfills his/her responsibilities by demonstrating knowledge of the potential market, established performance standards and an acute feel for the profitability thresholds of each department.
