EcoStrong Canada is a family run manufacturing facility in Cambridge, making plant based and bio-enzymatic products for many industries.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting daily operations by assisting with mixing, labelling, bottling, performing quality control checks and packaging biologic and plant based products for cleaning and odour control. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical skills, and an interest to learn and grow with a rapidly expanding team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on quality and safety.

Duties

Assist with packaging products efficiently, quickly and accurately according to specifications Operate forklifts and other equipment safely to move materials within the facility Support processing activities by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas Perform routine inspections of machinery and finished goods and report any issues Follow all safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards Use basic math skills to measure ingredients or quantities as needed Maintain organized workstations and assist with inventory management Support team members in meeting production goals while adhering to safety guidelines

Qualifications

Prior experience in packaging or manufacturing is preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with forklifts is a plus Understanding safety regulations and practices is desirable Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery safely Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
