Job Description

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team.

This position covers work done in both the prehung door department and moulding departments. It requires individuals to work as a team, either picking and fulfilling customer moulding orders or assembling wood products to create a prehung door.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: High School or Trade Certification
• Previous warehouse or construction experience an asset
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more throughout the shift
• Excellent work ethic
• Ability to work with others
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to work in variable temperatures

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick product following a pick ticket
• Assemble a prehung door following a workorder
• Build stable lifts of both doors and moulding
• Meet quality standards
• Work in accordance with the safety rules
