Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems using appropriate tools and techniques. Perform preventative maintenance to avoid equipment failures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks. Assist in the installation of new equipment as required. Keep work areas clean and organised, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a General Mechanic or in a similar role within the mechanical field. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and repair techniques. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanics or engineering are advantageous but not mandatory. A valid driving licence may be required for certain roles.
