Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to perform repairs and maintenance on various machinery and equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate solutions. Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.

Experience

Proven experience as a General Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. A relevant qualification in mechanics or engineering would be advantageous but is not essential. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment is desirable.
