Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards in food quality and cleanliness.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve operational goals.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and inventory management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experience
• Proven experience of minimum 2 years as a Hotel Manager t or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
• Minimum 5 experience required in the hotel industry or similar industry.
• Strong background in customer service with the ability to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for operational efficiency is desirable.
• Financial experience of handling payrolls and coordinating with accounts departments.
• Minimum education required as hospitality graduate or similar.
