We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that all aspects of the bakery run smoothly, from food preparation to customer service. The general manager will be responsible for creating a positive work environment while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties

Oversee all bakery operations, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards. Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability. Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and leadership practices. Conduct regular inspections of the bakery to ensure cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in bakery or restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team management and leadership. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Background in interviewing and training staff within the hospitality sector. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is a plus. Familiarity with bakery operations, including serving protocols and food handling practices.
