Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all catering operations, including food preparation, cooking, serving, and overall customer service.
Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a cohesive team environment.
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations across all departments.
Coordinate food production processes to maintain quality standards and optimise efficiency.
Develop and implement operational policies to improve service delivery and maximise profitability.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth daily operations.
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
Collaborate with culinary staff to innovate menus and enhance the dining experience.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in accordance with hospitality industry regulations.
Analyse financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and cost control.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, with demonstrated team management skills.
Minimum 10 years as General Manager role in catering environment in 5 stars hotel or above
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations; culinary experience is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is advantageous.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
Familiarity with restaurant service procedures including serving practices and barista experience is beneficial.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills to liaise with staff, vendors, and customers professionally.
