OVERVIEW OF POSITION
We are currently looking for an energetic, passionate
GENERAL MANAGER
to lead our entire team.
The
GENERAL MANAGER
has a proven ability to lead a team in the pursuit and delivery of exceptional guest experiences, while effectively enforcing the company's policies and procedures and maintaining financial responsibility. The
GENERAL MANAGER
works beside the
senior management team
in the areas of personnel management, budget control, quality of service and product and operational execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
Oversee daily operations of the eatery, taproom, and guest experiences
Lead and manage teams with a focus on service excellence
Hire, train, schedule, and develop staff; foster a strong, positive team culture
Monitor financial performance, control costs, and maximize profitability
Ensure high standards in food and beverage quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
Collaborate with ownership and team members on marketing, events, and seasonal planning
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and liquor licensing laws
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years' experience as the General Manager of a high-volume premium restaurant/destination
Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business/Hospitality Management or equivalent an asset
Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational management
Exceptional guest service orientation and strong attention to detail
Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage staff at all levels
Ability to motivate and develop staff into future leaders
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Natural leader with a passion for food, drink and guest experiences
