Wooden Walls Distilling is seeking a driven and capable General Manager / Business Director to lead the growth of our tasting room and events business.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be the creative engine behind our events and tasting experiences -- and the executor who makes sure they happen. You'll help us attract locals and tourists alike through strategic programming, consistent hospitality, and a passion for engaging, revenue-generating experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Tasting Room & Guest Experience
Develop and deliver a premium tasting room experience that leaves every guest feeling welcomed, valued, and connected to the brand.
Events & Private Bookings
Take initiative to create, pitch, and convert private events and experiences -- from corporate tastings to weddings and VIP bookings.
Tours & Tourism Development
Identify and create opportunities to attract tourists and local groups to the space through smart programming and outreach.
Build and promote tour packages and support with savvy marketing.
Sales & Commercial Results
Drive tasting room revenue events or bookings.
Find partners and collaborators in the restaurant / food space
Planning & Initiative
Create your own plans, present them, and follow through to delivery -- independently and proactively.
Team Leadership
Hire, schedule, and manage tasting room staff.
Lead by example: show up prepared, follow through, and hold high standards.
Motivate the team through communication, structure, and a shared pride in results
Qualifications:
Preference to formal education such as post-secondary education but offset with industry experience
Significant experience in one or more of the following: operations management, general management, Kitchen Management, front of house/event management, or tourism experience leadership.
Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and refine customer-facing experiences.
Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with clients, staff, and partners.
Ability to self-direct and deliver in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
