KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Employee Management & Administration



Hire and develop employees that have the attributes Mint has determined we require to be successful.

Mentor and coach Assistant Managers on how to motivate the employees and ensure that our people are performing at all levels.

Accountable to ensure employees comply with employment policies, corporate values, SOP and government legislations.

Work with location leadership to resolve any employee problems that may occur in a timely manner.

Build and nurture a high performing team through creating a fun work environment, living the company values and motivating employees to progress through the competency-based training program.

Customer Service



Coach and mentor all employees to greet customers with a smile and provide superior customer service.

Embody professionalism with colleagues and customers. Ensure all employees wear the Mint uniform and take pride in its appearance.

Ensure all employees are treating colleagues and customers with respect and that they have an excellent experience at Mint Smartwash.

Represent Mint Smartwash in the community in a positive manner.

Wash Operations



Create a fun working environment and develop tactics to motivate and improve the operations team.

Along with the Assistant Manager - Operations and the Maintenance Lead, monitor and improve the wash quality for the location; including identifying deficiencies, suggesting and testing changes.

Work with the Assistant Manager - Operations and Maintenance Lead to ensure we have the tools, equipment and supplies required. This includes chemical, dash wipes, towels, spare parts, safety supplies, etc.

Develop ideas and plans to improve the systems or processes at the wash and execute any changes.

Lead planning for larger projects such as equipment upgrades, building maintenance, staffing resources, etc.

Ensure that customer complaints and incidents are handled in a professional manner and closed out withing the required timeframe.

Oversee the incident investigation process to ensure that all vehicle incidents are handled in a timely, professional manner and the actions are in line with Company policy.

Safety Performance



Be the safety champion at the location, bringing forward and implementing ideas for improving the safety management system or safety culture.

Supervise and mentor junior employees on the safety program. Enforce proper behaviors with all employees, visitors and contractors.

Complete, understand and put into action the required safety training.

Organize and conduct safety meetings, support health and safety committee members, and review and provide suggestions on hazard ID reports.

Ensure employees and contractors understand Mint's commitment to safety and embrace the safety culture.

Community Involvement



Manage Mint's local relationships with charities, sports teams and other events that we sponsor. Ensure that partners align well with Mint's values and our commitment to the community is highlighted through these partnerships.

Work with local businesses to develop partnerships, which may include vendors, customers, or joint marketing partners. Ensure that our partners represent Mint and its values.

Be present at events in the community representing Mint and involve other Mint employees in this community involvement when appropriate.

Nurture relationships with local vendor partners and ensure they are performing to our expectations. In the event they service our customers, ensure their level of customer service meets or exceeds ours.

Professional Development



Refine your leadership skills and business acumen to be able to progress to an Area Manager position.

Champion the competency-based training program. Ensure the employees understand the expectations, are provided the resources and support to develop their skillset.

Ensure junior employees are progressing through their competency-based training program and provide support and guidance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
