Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, sales, and staff development within the studio, ensuring optimal performance in revenue generation and team management.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Performance & Weekly Reporting

Ensure the studio is meeting or exceeding sales targets. Send out and review the weekly sales performance report to track progress, identify trends, and develop strategies for improvement.

Staff Scheduling & Management

Manage and oversee staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage and balancing of resources to meet member needs. Monitor and adjust staffing levels as required to optimize studio efficiency at intros.

Teacher Training

Lead the recruitment of prospective students into our comprehensive instructor training. Coordinate with corporate to seek support with advertising and work alongside AGM to plan marketing campaigns.

Personal Training Sales

Develop strategies for promoting and selling personal training services to members. Train all staff on the Personal Training Process to ensure high standards of service. Track and report personal training sales, providing guidance to staff to improve conversion rates.

Training and Development

Schedule and deliver weekly training and development opportunities for all sales staff.

Member Cancellations

Oversee and manage the member cancellation process. Reach out to members who wish to cancel to understand reasons and explore retention options. Implement initiatives to reduce cancellations and improve member satisfaction.

Overall Studio Management

Ensure the studio maintains high levels of cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and a welcoming environment. Handle the overall customer experience, addressing issues or concerns as they arise.

Requirements



Proven experience in a managerial role within the fitness or wellness industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in business management, including budgeting and financial oversight. Passion for health, wellness, and fitness with an understanding of Pilates preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
