Job Summary
Tabule is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, drive profitability, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality, strong financial acumen, and the ability to cultivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house management.
Ensure outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high service and quality standards.
Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Lead, train, and motivate a team to foster a positive workplace culture.
Manage all aspects of staff operations, including recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, performance management, training, conflict resolution, and offboarding.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and control costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Build strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Drive marketing initiatives and community engagement to boost brand presence.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 3-5 years in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-volume setting.
Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field is an asset.
Smart Serve certification required; First Aid and Food Handler certification are assets.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Additional beverage training, such as wine certification or mixology courses, is considered an asset.
Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Toast, is considered an asset.
