GENERAL MANAGER- Modified P/T

To oversee and coordinate the operations (office and hockey) of the Association in a professional and organized manner, the General Manager will coordinate with office staff and liaison with Board members, stakeholders and membership to facilitate an organized and efficient operation. The General Manager shall oversee the Associations operations, player and coach development initiatives, plan, coordinate and execute evaluations, team and coach selection processes, interface with Hockey Alberta, SCAHL, CAHL, SEAC, etc., and will support and report to the Board of Directors and Executive of the Association.

Requirements

:

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and have the ability to plan and execute. Experience and/or training in management and/or project coordination a must. Knowledge of hockey operations an asset, although not specifically required. Must be flexible with regards to working hours throughout slow and busy times of the season and be knowledgeable with programs such as Microsoft Excel, Office 365, and the Hockey Canada and Hockey Alberta guidelines/policies.
