Responsibilities
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Develop and implement operational policies to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance overall guest experience
Conduct interviews for potential team members and participate in team management activities
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
Collaborate with hotel or bar staff if applicable to ensure seamless service across departments
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
Strong background in food industry operations including food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
Supervising experience with a focus on team management and training
Knowledge of food service standards, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
Experience in interviewing potential staff members and managing personnel performance
Familiarity with restaurant or hotel management systems; barista experience is a plus
