LANDSCAPING GENERAL MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to oversee all aspects of our landscaping business operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can independently run the business and drive growth while maintaining operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

Oversee daily operations including scheduling, crew management, and project execution Ensure quality control on all landscaping projects and maintenance services Manage equipment maintenance, inventory, and procurement Develop and implement standard operating procedures
Business Development & Sales

Maintain and grow existing client relationships Prepare estimates, bids, and contracts Identify market opportunities and develop strategic growth plans
Team Leadership

Recruit, hire, train, and manage all staff members Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching Foster a positive, safety-focused work culture Resolve employee conflicts and disciplinary issues
Customer Service

Serve as primary point of contact for key clients Address customer concerns and ensure satisfaction Build long-term client partnerships
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of landscaping industry experience 3+ years in management or supervisory role Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, equipment, and best practices Excellent leadership and team-building skills Outstanding communication and customer service abilities Proficiency with business software and project management tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record
