Job Description

Nuestra is seeking a long term passionate, highly motivated, and creative General Manager to join and lead our growing team, with interest in an eventual partnership. You will be accountable for every aspect of Nuestra's day-to-day performance; including overall operations, financial health, and staff management, ensuring all areas of the cafe are achieving key results. You will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensuring the store meets or exceeds its sales and profitability goals. You will be responsible for creating an environment and work culture that promotes employee engagement, growth, and development.

Your duties will include overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, hiring and training staff, and developing marketing strategies to drive sales and engage with the community. You will act as a bridge between front and back of house staff, ensuring smooth operations and consistent service standards.

Responsibilities:

Operations: Supervise daily operations and budgets, maintain the cafe's appearance and decor, and ensure health and safety standards are met. Staff Management: Hire, train, and schedule staff. Motivate teams, provide clear expectations, and hold them accountable to our standards of cleanliness and pace. Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction by resolving complaints, and monitoring the quality of food and beverage service. Financial Management: Manage the budget, track costs, forecast revenues, managing inventory, and negotiating with suppliers. Leadership: Bridge the gap between management and staff, ensuring clear communication and a positive work environment. Encourage staff engagement by creating excitement and listening to their ideas and bringing them to life in a way that meets the cafe's standards. Marketing and Strategy: Implement marketing plans to attract customers, build brand awareness, and increase sales.
Skills & Experience:

Barista experience is required. Experience with Square dashboard and 7-shifts would be considered an asset. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire excitement to challenge a team to grow. Excellent customer service skills. Understanding food safety regulations and procedures. Food Handling certificate would be an asset. A strong multi-tasker with great attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft & Google Drive Understanding forecasting to maintain an efficient ordering schedule. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
