Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

General Manager

to oversee daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining overall operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The General Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our establishment by fostering a positive team culture and ensuring high-quality dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management to ensure team effectiveness. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all areas of the restaurant. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels during peak hours and manage labor costs effectively. Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols to enhance team performance. Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and revenue analysis to meet operational goals. Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, catering events, banquet services, and special promotions. Foster a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality excellence and encourages repeat business.

Qualifications



Proven management experience in the food industry, particularly within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Strong leadership skills with prior supervising or team management experience; ability to train and develop staff effectively. Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food cost analysis. Culinary experience or fine dining background is desirable but not mandatory.
