Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance and Warehouse Technician to support the smooth operation of our pharmaceutical warehouse and production facility. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of general warehouse and maintenance activities such as repairs, facility improvement tasks, including cabling, painting, lighting, light plumbing, and electro-mechanical support work. Perform day-to-day operating activities warehouse. This includes receipt of materials, pick and pack requirements, preparation of customer shipments, interacting with transportation companies, while ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

Receiving of all incoming shipments of materials and efficiently manage storage space and execute movements of inventory Coordinate the internal handling of all production waste and manage waste pickup and disposal Pick and pack for outbound shipments Maintain warehouse area clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency Perform general maintenance, repair (painting, minor electrical work, minor carpentry, minor plumbing), and upkeep of warehouse, production areas, and utility spaces. Operate lift trucks, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Support production operations by ensuring facility infrastructure (relocation of equipment, racks, and other electro-mechanical setups) and assist is in optimal condition. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition. Follow all health, safety, and environmental guidelines, as well as company policies. Coordinate with external contractors and other departments as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical certification in maintenance, electro-mechanical, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or handyman work (preferably in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment). Valid forklift/lift truck operator certification (or willingness to obtain). Hands-on experience with painting, plumbing, basic electrical, and mechanical repair. Strong understanding of workplace safety and maintenance best practices. Ability to read and follow maintenance instructions, manuals, and safety documents. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
