Job Description

Position Overview



The General Licensed Condominium Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and assets of condominium corporations in compliance with the Ontario Condominium Act. This role serves as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, unit owners, and Condominium Management Group (CMG).

Key Responsibilities



Execute strategic direction established by the Board of Directors while adhering to CMG's professional standards and practices Serve as the single point of contact for the community, enhancing communication between stakeholders Oversee all aspects of property operations, including maintenance, financial management, and administration Ensure compliance with the Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) requirements and regulations Develop and maintain effective relationships with board members, residents, vendors, and staff Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets and reserve fund projections Coordinate and attend board meetings, AGMs, and other required meetings Manage service contracts, supervise contractors, and coordinate maintenance projects Respond promptly to owner inquiries and concerns Oversee emergency response protocols and after-hours procedures Prepare comprehensive reports for board meetings and maintain accurate records Coordinate with on-call teams and call centers to ensure seamless communication

Qualifications



Current General License issued by the Condominium Management Regulatory Authority of Ontario (CMRAO) Minimum of three years of condominium property management experience Comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Condominium Act, 1998 and relevant amendments Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance requirements, and capital projects Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Superior customer service and conflict resolution abilities Proficiency in property management software, Microsoft Office suite, and digital communication tools Experience with financial management, budget preparation, and contract negotiation Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for property visits

Education



Post-secondary education in Business, Property Management, or related field preferred Ongoing professional development in condominium management

Pay: $50,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
