We are seeking Golf Course Greenskeepers/Landscape Gardeners for Summer 2024. A successful candidate would be energetic, enthusiastic (loves golf!), have leadership and personal skills who can work independently and collaboratively with other team members.

We are looking for motivated individuals who are available Full-time from May 2024 (weather dependent) to November 2024 (weather dependent) or until the end of the golf season.

The Position:
As a member of the Donalda Grounds Team, you will work alongside the Golf Course Superintendent and his assistants for the maintenance of the golf course to deliver the best possible playing conditions for the membership on a daily basis.
EXPECTED START DATE: May 13, 2024 (weather dependent)

An Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Mowing and maintenance of greens, tees, fairways and rough
• Raking and maintenance of sand traps
• Raking and removal of leaves and other debris
• Other turf duties as requested by grounds management team
• Our goal is to provide our membership with a high-class golf experience daily. We strive to staff our turf maintenance team with talented people who share our level of enthusiasm.
• Operation of light equipment such as hand-powered tools, riding mowers, tractors, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work early mornings (5:30-6:00 A.M. start times)
• Available to work the required weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically capable of completing required tasks
• Previous landscaping experience (preferred, but not necessary)
• Golf course experience an asset (but not necessary)
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
