D&D Commercial Roofing is looking for experienced roofers and labourers to join our team. With upcoming projects throughout Alberta, we have constant work and are continually growing. We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals and are willing to work with the right candidate(s). Wage is to be based on experience and certifications. Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Experience an asset Duties and responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Load, unload and transport construction equipment materials \xc2\xb7 Mix, pour and spread materials \xc2\xb7 Clean and pile salvaged materials \xc2\xb7 Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites \xc2\xb7 Operate various tools and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Cleans up worksites from obsolete or hazardous materials. General Housekeeping. \xc2\xb7 Provide labour support as needed. \xc2\xb7 Follow safety protocols \xc2\xb7 Render support in the Installation of roofing systems \xc2\xb7 Removal of roofing applications on hand \xc2\xb7 Responsible for utilizing, holding, or supplying materials or tools during projects \xc2\xb7 Clean work area and equipment, set ladders in place for taking supplies to roofs \xc2\xb7 Prepare the roofs for the application of new roofing materials \xc2\xb7 Responsible for taking down materials and tools from work trucks and unroll roofing materials as directed \xc2\xb7 Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work \xc2\xb7 Set up safety-related equipment to protect the project site \xc2\xb7 Safely climb a ladder frequently to supply materials \xc2\xb7 Lifting over 50lb Abilities \xc2\xb7 Ability to learn and follow safety policy \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in all weather conditions \xc2\xb7 Ability to lift heavy materials and tools \xc2\xb7 Ability to use powered hand tools \xc2\xb7 Ability to work at heights \xc2\xb7 Willingness to work out of town Fall Arrest, Torch Safety, Fire Extinguisher, Standard First Aid or/and telehandler training/certification considered an asset.
