Job Description
John Ross & Sons is currently seeking General Laborers to join our team at our facility at 6 Long Lake Drive in Halifax! As the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada, we seek energetic and safety minded individuals to join our expanding team!
Primary Responsibilities:
Cleaning equipment
Maintain organized inventory and sorting materials
Maintain clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
Manual labor involved
Ensuring safety protocols are being followed
Qualifications and Skills
Reliable and dependable
Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs repetitively
Ability to work full-time and in all weather conditions
Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time
Ability to take direction and learn quickly
Steel toed boots
